Good Morning my dears!
Today I’m up over on the Felicity Jane blog showing off the amazing patterned papers from the December kit! I just love how they work together so well and are perfect for any winter themed layout and not just ones about Christmas!
I used a super fun technique on this fun little layout and be sure to hope on over to the Felicity Jane blog to see the rest!!
Today I’m up over on the Felicity Jane blog with more of my December Daily and you should really go and check it out! Here’s a sneak peek!!
This month has been an absolute whirl wind! This year has been by bar the busiest ever and I’m trying to stay on top of things but it’s just so hard!
So when it comes to my December Daily pages, sometimes it’s really nice and lets face it, essential to create easy yet beautiful looking pages!
that’s one of the reasons I just love these 3×4 cards from My Minds Eye! Not only are they just absolutely gorgeous, but they’re just so darn easy to use. Just slip it in and, add some chipboard on top of a sequins filled page and you’re done!
One thing I love about this Christmas on Market Street collection is that the patterned papers are just plain beautiful! I really wanted to show them all off so I used tiny strips to make this christmas tree!
So I wanna know, how do you keep your December Daily album easy yet beautiful!!??
Hello to all of my night owls! I usually don’t post at night, but I had some extra time and I really wanted to give you all a little peek into the class I’m contributing to this year over at Studio Calico, 25 Days!
I can’t post the entire shot of the pages but I can give you guys a little taste of what you can see from me in the class!
There’s lot of gold, bright reds, forest greens, sequins and glitter! I’m also mixing it up and throwing some mint and pink into my album! Basically nothing’s off limits. I’m usually kinda strict about my color scheme, but I’m learning to be more relaxed when it comes to that!
if you’ve been participating in the class I’d love to know your thoughts on how you’re liking it so far!!
Okay, so I’ve totally been slacking on this little blog of mine! I just been so so so busy with keeping up with the three different design teams I’m working for this month! I promise that I will share the rest of my December Daily sometime this next week!
But until then here’s a little peek at my album to tide you over!
This is day number three! Honestly we haven’t done too many holiday themed activities so far, so most of the photos I’m using in my album are of the decor that I got to setup after Thanksgiving! I started to incorporate a bright and beautiful red into my decorations this year and I’m totally loving it! I just can’t get enough red this year!
I’m totally crushing on all of the different embellishments in these kits from Felicity Jane! It’s probably my very favorite kit from the entire year! The glitter foam phrases and snowflakes are among my very favorites!
I mean common look at the “joy” sticker??? It’s just to die for!
okay and I did something for this first time on the joy page, I ran a strip of washi tape all the way up the side of my page protector! I’ve seen it done a lot on Pinterest and various blogs, but I’ve never tried it myself! I have a feeling it’s going to become a staple in this years December Daily album!!
Isn’t this gold album from the Felicity Jane kit just amazing!? I had another album all picked out and ready to go but when I first saw this, I knew immediately that I would have to use it this year!!
Thanks so so much for stopping by and taking a little peek at my album and don’t forget to check back later this week to see the rest of the day’s I’ve got finished!!
Whose ready for December??? I sure am! I’m excited for pretty lights, the wondrous smell of the Christmas tree, hot cocoa and of course, those pretty packages!!
If you head on over to the My Minds Eye blog you can see the rest of these adorable packages I made using their Christmas on Market Street collection of patterned papers and embellishments!
So I have to know, what’s your favorite part of the holidays!??
Oh man… December??? Already? I swear there was some extra time in there somewhere?? No? Well, then I guess the only thing to do is talk about my all time favorite project, you guess is!! December daily!
I wanted to show you all of the fun things I’m going to be using this time around!
First things first, color scheme!!
I really didn’t know what to do this year because several of the kits I would be working with this year were total opposites or very very similar to the album I did last year. And I’ve got to change it up every year, or I’ll get bored asap. So this year I ended up finding some middle ground with teals, mints, pinks, corals, and some traditional reds, greens and gold! Basically I’m going to be using a little bit of everything!
Take a look at all those pretty embellishments!
I’m pretty sure there’s a little something from everyone, Studio Calico, My Minds Eye, Felicity Jane, Pink Paislee, Heidi Swapp, and Maggie Holmes.
One of the big trends I’m seeing this year is hand lettered embellishments! You can see several here in my stash and I’m oh so excited to use them!
I’ll be using that adorable gold Project Life album from the always fantastic Felicity Jane Kit Club, head over here to check it out! Oh and don’t forget to keep up with the 25 Days class over at Studio Calico as well!
I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving yesterday, with lots of food, family and friends! We don’t have any family up here in Alaska so we had a few families over for dinner and it was fantastic!
Anywho, I wanted to share with you this fall theme layout I’ve made with my most recent Felicity Jane kit, Savannah!
One of my recent obsessions is quilting, and I wanted to make a layout that kinda had that same feel so I made this silhouette cut file that has all these fun triangles just like quilts do!
Just wanted to pop in really quickly and share a little image I created today. It’s a scripture from the Bible that I’ve had a lot on my mind lately and is a fantastic reminder to myself that having charity for all of those around me will never leave me felling anything but happy!
Hello my dear friends!
Fall is officially in full swing and you know what that means! Fall decorating!!
I know decorating can be bit overwhelming t!!his time of year because we have three major holidays one right after another, but with My Minds Eye party supplies its not only super easy, but it’s also super fun.
The first thing I did was to open up these gorgeous paper fans and placed them on and around my mantle. You can also see that I left some half way open so they could sit right on top of my mantle. I love that they can be used in a variety of different ways!
Then I took some of my favorite gold foil letters from the My Minds Eye Necessities line and sewed them into mini banners and then hung them from my vintage gold frames. I feel like they make the perfect addition to my decor!
Then I added in two different banners, one I made myself and one from the MME party line. I used my silhouette to cut out these leaves from some old foiled MME paper and sewed them all together and hung them across! Ridiculously easy!
What’s your favorite part of fall decorations???
